Why Wrist and Forearm Warm-Up is Important for Planche and Handstand Workouts⬇️ Warming up your wrists and forearms is especially crucial when performing planche and handstand exercises. Here’s why: 1️⃣Increased Stability and Control: Properly warmed-up wrists and forearms provide better stability and control, which are essential for maintaining balance during planche and handstand workouts. 2️⃣Enhanced Flexibility: Warm-up exercises increase the flexibility of your wrists and forearms, allowing for a greater range of motion. This flexibility is vital for executing planches and handstands with correct form. 3️⃣Reduced Risk of Injury: Planche and handstand movements put significant stress on the wrists and forearms. A thorough warm-up prepares these muscles and joints, reducing the risk of sprains, strains, and other injuries. 4️⃣Better Joint Health: Consistent warm-ups promote long-term joint health, ensuring that you can continue to perform intense calisthenics exercises like planches and handstands without chronic issues. — ❗️Don’t skip your wrist and forearm warm-up! It’s the key to mastering planches and handstands safely and effectively. — 📈Ready to elevate your training? Send me a message “PROGRESS” for VIP 1:1 coaching with me. Why You Need a Strong Foundation for Planche Training?⬇️ The planche is an advanced skill requiring significant strength and body control. Before starting planche training, you should be able to do at least 15 pull-ups, 30 dips, and 40 push-ups. This level of strength ensures you can control your body and perform planche exercises with proper technique, including engaging the necessary muscle groups and maintaining protraction. Without sufficient strength, you may focus solely on pushing or holding, without the ability to control and engage every part of your body correctly. I’ve seen many individuals begin planche training with only around 8 pull-ups, 15 dips, and 25 push-ups. Consequently, they struggle with protraction, depression, and overall body control, leading to slow progress, frustration, and eventually giving up. Building a strong foundation is crucial. Spend 3-4 months focusing on basic strength training. This phase will enhance your muscle endurance, neuromuscular coordination, and connective tissue strength, preparing you for the demands of planche training. 📲Become a strong athlete by following my step-by-step program.
