Struggling with handstand push-ups and constantly falling❓ Even though you feel your shoulders are strong enough… ❗️One of the main reasons could be your hand position. Most of us learned handstands with a narrow hand placement, and when you try to do handstand push-ups the same way - for beginners, it’s almost impossible. Why? Because when your hands are too narrow and you’re in a handstand, to go down you need to lean forward and move your legs into a diagonal line — and that’s super hard. As a result, you just fall. Instead, focus on this at the beginning: - Place your hands wider. - Kick up into a handstand, slightly arch your back, open your shoulders a bit, and move straight down and straight up. - This requires less shoulder strength and you won’t need to shift your body forward into a diagonal. You’ll stay in one line, move down and up, and with time, you can gradually switch to a narrower hand position.
