Why is nobody talking about this in 2026? Every handstand push-up tutorial on Instagram and YouTube teaches the same thing. Go down. Push up. That’s it. But that’s not where you lose it. What I see all the time: people are strong enough, they push, the legs drive forward, and at the top they lose the balance. Again and again. Here is the key. The moment your elbows are almost fully locked, the strength shifts into the balance. That’s the exact point where control disappears. So don’t rush the top. Feel the weight in the middle of your palm. Engage your core. Engage your legs. Drive your feet slightly over your head. And slowly lock the elbows. This last range, very slow.
Bro, there are athletes who could do this easily. But somehow… they never film it. They never try it. They never post it. And every time I ask, “Okay, tag me. Show me who did it.” Nobody tags anyone. 😂 So here’s my genuine question: Why do people always feel the need to say, “Someone else could do it easily,” instead of simply respecting the person who actually DID it?
Most people never get the bent arm planche. Not because they’re weak. Because they skip the steps. If you’re 15, you can attack the skill and get away with it. If you’re in your 30s, you can’t. Your tendons need time under load. Skip that, and you’re not training, you’re waiting for an injury. Comment “MORE” and I’ll reach out to see how I can help.
