Your dragon flag isn’t failing because you’re weak. It’s failing because you’re trying the full skill instead of the steps that build it. The ladder: 1. Knee raises to chest 2. Tuck dragon flag raise 3. Tuck raise → open to vertical 4. Tuck raise → vertical → lower to advanced tuck → hold 5. Advanced tuck raise 6. From vertical, lower to the point you control. Close legs. Raise again. 7. Lower that point every week until you hold 5 seconds. Sets and reps: 3 sessions per week. The hardest progression you can do: 5 sets * of 5-10s. Or 5-8 raises.

You want a planche in one month? Then I can’t help you. Before you even touch this plan, check your base: 12 pull-ups. 20 dips. 30 push-ups. Not there? Then you’re not starting planche. You’re starting basics. That’s the honest answer nobody gives you. If you have the base: Planche lean: 3 × 10 seconds. Lean only as far as you can hold good protraction. Tuck planche press, feet assisted: 3 × 5. Pseudo push-up with protraction: 3 × 10-12. Rest 1:30–2:00 between sets. You don’t move on until your planche lean is 15 clean seconds. Not 12. Not “close.” Fifteen. Most people will skip the base and go jump at the skill again. Some won’t. Part 2 is coming.
